When you navigate to Dispatching and the Assign by Driver tab, the default view shows all of the drivers that are in your saved filters that are Available for Dispatch.
Available for Dispatch means the driver has a PTA within the dispatch horizon, which in the example below is 96 hours:
Use this drop down to change your view. You can select:
All Available Drivers: All drivers with a PTA within the dispatch horizon
Available With Match: Available and has at least one load match
Available Without Match: Available and has no load matches
Home Time: Available and the optimal recommendation is to send the driver home
Planned: All drivers within your saved filters that have a PTA beyond the dispatch horizon
All Dispatch Matches: All drivers regardless of PTA
Tips on when to use the drop down:
If you are assigning loads to drivers, select Available with Match to access the quickest wins for the day. Go down the list of drivers and assign them all a load based on the best match available.
If you are sourcing new loads and booking them for the gaps in the network, select Available Without Match to access the highest priority drivers that need a load booked for them.
Once these drivers are assigned an moving, you can then go into
Home Time: Look for drivers that need to get home but it is going to be high dead end to see if there are any loads to reduce those empty miles
Available With Match: Look for drivers that have low quality matches that need a better load booked for them
