Dispatch by Driver

1. Navigate to the Dispatching tool and the Assign Drivers tab at the top of the page

   1. You are looking at a list of drivers that will be available for dispatch (ie. their PTA) within the Dispatch Horizon

   2. This Dispatch Horizon is set to allow planning ahead, but not too far ahead when there are not yet enough loads for the Optimization to run

2. The list is sorted by the soonest Available for Dispatch (aka PTA) first so that you can prioritize drivers who are ready

   1. Note: If a driver’s PTA is in the past, the Available for Dispatch column will read “Now” to signify that this driver needs a load ASAP

3. The Top Load column shows the Optimal load match for each driver. To assign this load or review the other load matches, click the Load ID in the Top Load column:

4. This will open up the recommendation panel

5. Assign the top ranked, optimal match by clicking Assign Load to Driver at the bottom.

OR

If there is a reason the top load cannot work for your driver, then click the next best load and assign that load.

Newest Version Updates (Feb-2023)

In order to access a driver/load’s recommendations, click View Matches.

The recommendation panel now shows the recommendations in two ways:

• A summary at the top

• A section below that has a card for each load/driver recommendation

The OD Rating of each recommendation can be found at the top of the card. Explanation of these ratings can be found by clicking the info icon at the top of the panel.
