Scope of Module
Dispatching is located in the “Execute” solution. The intent of this feature is to provide a ranked list of loads for driver and drivers for loads. Movement pairings are rated based on profit, service, time at home needs and other, customer-specific targets. The ranked list allows for user interaction based on unknown scenarios or driver needs. Two-way integration allows for assignments or information in the Optimal Dynamics platform to flow into customer TMS. Dispatching options are continually optimized based on decisions made by the user in the platform.

This module is intended to be used daily, multiple times per day and throughout the freight assignment process. This module should be an integral part of the decision-making process surrounding which loads are paired with which drivers, and should be looking 1-3 days into the future - the forward-looking timeframe will vary by customer based on load profile.
