Origin & Destination Market Balance Details
What is the Impact and Benefit to you?
Understanding the impact of intelligently recommended Bid Lanes and their load volume on your current market balance is crucial for making informed bidding decisions. Our new UI offers detailed insights into how winning recommended Bid Lanes will influence your current Origin and Destination inbound and outbound shipment balance. The feature includes information on your starting/current market balance, Bid Lane load volume contribution, and resulting load balance. Visualized through a stacked bar chart, this information is presented in a way that allows for quick decision-making and timely responses to RFP’s.
How to Use it:
From your Network Manager, Open you Bid Analysis results file
Scroll to the right of your analytics table data and locate the OMKT Balance column and DMKT Balance columns.
Click on the Red or Green highlighted number that will contain a + or - sign in front of it.
View the Market Balance details
In this example, you can see that the starting inbound load balance was -43.
The Bid Lane load volume would actually improve the number of inbound loads to this market by reduction of 18 loads.
By winning this Bid Lane, The resulting inbound load balance would be -25 loads as opposed to -43.
Remember, a market balance of 0 means there is a perfect balance of inbound and outbound loads.
