Scope of Module
The Network View module is part of the Plan product. The intent of this module is to create a digital twin of your network that allows you to model the outcome of a variety of “what if” scenarios before operationalizing them. Questions and scenarios are created, and the network simulates these changes while still adhering to the business rules and calibrated KPIs. The results of these simulations can then be compared to the Base Case to allow the user to get a fact-based understanding of the impact the changes could have on the network. These scenarios could include, but are not limited to:
Increase/Decrease of volume by shipper or lane
Elimination of shippers or lanes
Changes to cost associated with different driver types
Changes to revenue by shipper and/or lane
Driver domiciles
Primary User Groups
Primary users of this module are any involved with network design, revenue management, driver workforce management and shipper management. Titles of users may include:
Network Engineer
Executive or Director
Human/Driver Resources and Recruiting
Account Manager
Sales Manager
Driver/Fleet Manager
Frequency
This module is intended to be used on an “as needed” basis. Any “what if” question regarding your network can be reviewed here as they come up. In the event the scenario is not one of the many self-serve options, you can reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Value Engineer for a custom simulation. Goals
After completing the training session, users should have a general understanding of the specific module, a working knowledge on how to use and apply the feature and a general understanding of the Optimal Dynamics terminology.
